So as I feel the water getting murky and the other fish begin to get nervous in this big pool called the web I let a big smelly one go…
I want to talk about why one shouldn’t vote. Reasons a person shouldn’t vote for the safety of themselves and others are:
Happy Voting.. Ta ta for now…
- A person shouldn’t vote when they do not know why they are voting… that is like speaking Spanish to someone who speaks Chinese. It makes no sense.
- A person shouldn’t vote if they don’t know what the questions, laws and people on the ballot are about. That is like cooking a soufflé without knowing what goes in one and how to cook it. You may come out with something good but most likely you will be voting in some stupid person like some of the current constituents.
- A person shouldn’t vote if they only vote party lines. Folks lets be educated here. People don’t get an automatic ok just because they are Democrat or Republican. These folks represent us and we are not a political party we are Americans. (Unless of course you aren’t then I still think you can relate.)
- And last but certainly not least A person shouldn’t vote because it is their duty. Duty smooty if you have any of the above issues then what duty is that. I am thinking a half #@$ one.
Happy Voting.. Ta ta for now…

We can only vote for parties over here, we never have special. Ballots and things like that isn´t something that comes with the election.
I agree that one should educate one self before an election of any kind, but I feel that one should vote if You have the chance, many people that wants to vote has no chance to do it.
And to be honest, some of those that we can feel are idiots can feel right for others :-) :-) :-)
The only thing I really don´t like is when people vote because religious reasons. Religion and power isn´t a good combination. Power corrupts and there are to many examples around the world where power has corrupted religion.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
Thank you Christer. Maybe I should have qualified that people sometimes vote not because they know what the bills are or who the candidate is but rather because of party affiliation or what others have told them to vote. Here it seems there is a great deal of ambivalent attitudes. It shouldn't be that way but for whatever reason whether it be from fear their vote doesn't count so they don't vote or it be from traditions we follow not knowing if it really represents what we would want for ourselves let alone our children is not good reasons to not vote or vote. But I guess out of the two I would rather one not vote then vote and not know what they are voting for. Education is so important I think and sometimes I am not sure some people realize that. It makes me kind of sad.
Thank you again. and take care.
I agree in that we should know what we want before touching the ballot.
Thank you for stopping by Kenz. I really do believe in voting but kind of like when a person drinks I would hope they would do it responsibly. That way you still have a good time and you are a live to see it to the next election.
